New to addons? Start here
Addons are free little mods that players make. They add stuff the game doesn't have, like better bags or quest markers. You don't need to be techy, it takes about five minutes, and you can remove anything later.
WowUp-CF
A free app that installs and updates your addons for you. This is the easiest way to get everything here. On the download page, pick the CurseForge edition.
Get WowUpCurseForge
The website where every addon here lives. It has its own free app too, if you'd rather install them one at a time.
Get the CurseForge appPick how you want to install and the steps open up.
Install everything in one go
- Install WowUp from the link above (the CurseForge edition) and open it.
- When it asks which game to manage, pick your Forever client. If it can't find the game, point it at your WoW Forever folder.
-
Copy the import code. It's a long line of letters that tells WowUp which addons to get.
- In WowUp, use its import option and paste the code. All 21 addons install at once.
- Start the game. Your addons are switched on, and you can check them with the AddOns button on the character screen.
Don't want everything? Skip this and pick what you like from the list below.
Install one at a time
- Install the CurseForge app from the link above and open it.
- Choose World of Warcraft, then your Forever client.
- Use the CurseForge button on any addon below and press Install. Do the ones marked required first, because other addons need them.
CurseForge can't import a whole set, so it's one click per addon. WowUp-CF is quicker if you want it all.
Can I undo it?
Yep. Remove any addon in the same app you installed it with and the game goes back to normal.
Do I need all of them?
Nope. Most people only want a few. Look through the list below and take what looks useful.
Something didn't work
Make sure the app is pointed at your Forever client and not another version of the game, then try the import again.
The addons
must-have great to have optional. That's how hard I'd push you to grab each one, best first. If it says required, another addon needs it to work. is an absolute must-have. Only OlympusMute gets it, and you might as well not play the game without it.
No addons match that search.
